I walked in this morning after having yesterday off, I notice a water bowl, and a food bowl, which looks to be for a dog. So I'm thinking J brought in her dog today. Cool! I like her dog and it always helps calm the stress level in the office. To my surprise it wasn't her dog, but one she found roaming the street. This dog is small, multi colored, super cute female. I guess yesterday J called area vets of where she found her, and also the local police station. This morning she drove by the area to see if anyone posted a "lost" sign. Nothing. A local vet has offered to do a chip scan to see if she's registered to anyone. I doubt this dog has a chip, but my fingers are crossed. She's so well behaved, not to mention clean, you know this belongs to a wonderful family. ( At least I hope so) I would love to take her home, she's cuddled next to my desk sleeping as I type, and she's been there the whole morning! F and I have had the pet conversation before, I've wanted a dog forever, but I see his point a condo is not the best place for a dog to live, we both work, and have a pretty busy life. We agreed when we got a house we'd get a dog. If we can't find the rightful owners I can't let this dog be taken to the pound, they kill them after 7 days!! We've posted on craigslist, and I suggested of making up a "found" flyer to hang in the neighborhood where she was found. I also found a listing of a local family who is looking for a small sized dog.
This dog is adorable!!
UPDATE:
Dog's owners just made contact, looks like Dori gets a happy ending. (Dori-name of dog)
