New Years Eve

The past few years we've done different things for New Years. We've gone to concerts, went to family dinners/parties, and stayed home by ourselves. F and I are not party people. Today on the way home from the store I realized we've never gone out for dinner. So I called F and asked if he wanted to go out for a "date" he's been fighting a cold for weeks, and working on the bathroom so I mostly expected him to say no. He was excited at the idea. I called our favorite Italian restaurant close to our place, lucky for us a table for 2 was doable. Having an early dinner turned out to be perfect. We ended up walking to the restaurant, in the snow. It reminded me how much I love the area we live in. I wish we never had to move away. However knowing the realty market we can't afford the space we will eventually need. On the walk home the snow was sticking, and it was getting cold, walking hand in hand it made me remember how these will be the last few days of alone time together. Our lives will be forever changed, in a great way.

I love being home before 10 and in pajamas! Call me an old lady I don't care. I'm in a warm comfy bed doing just what I want.....NOTHING.

To all you party animals, have fun, be safe, and remember call a cab!

2008 bring it on.

Sounds like a very relaxing evening. And I really like how you're savoring these last few moments of alone time :) Enjoy. All my best for a safe and happy delivery.
