Weekend Update

Friday I headed to my sisters very early in the morning. We were having a garage sale at her house, along with a few other people. I wasn't sure how the day was going to go, the weather looked like rain. Oh the humidity! It was insane. Even with sun block I burned the top of my forehead. Oh it hurts. No rain ended up coming. We did have severe wind. The crazy weather didn't stop people from coming. We sold a lot of stuff. The garage sale was on Saturday too. We ended up making more money on Friday than Saturday. I left with a $110, I made a little more, but we had to cover lunches, and advertising. It felt great to get all the unused stuff out of my place.

My 12 year old niece came back home with me, she's staying until Wednesday. She and my other niece only come up about twice a year. They live 2 hours away, and just having them for a weekend is hard. Since she was already at my sister's place, it worked out easier this time. Honestly I did not know how funny she is. Her personality has changed so much, I love it! She cracks me up all the time. Interesting how she reminds me of myself. :) Yesterday we went to the mall. I wanted to let her buy a few clothes. I needed to get my eyebrows done, and she mentioned how she wanted to as well. So I told her it was going to hurt bad, and that she probably would have tears running down her face. (I get my threaded, which hurts worse, but lasts longer) She still wanted to do it, off we went. For the rest of the night all I heard from her was, I can't believe how much that hurt, it was painful, the lady was rude, etc!! I just laughed, told her beauty is pain, suck it up, her brows looked fantastic. Which she agrees they do.

I feel bad Y hasn't been around for G's visit yet, but also I'm happy. It's been awesome to have some one on one time. It's been a very long time since we've had the opportunity to be alone. G's really good with C too. She likes to help out, and hold him. She really helped at the garage sale with the kids.

We're at work together today. G's helped out in the office since the part-time girl is off today. We had some yummy Chinese food for lunch. I'm ready for a nap! Guess not, back to work I go.
