Stuff

First, I hate that I'm only writing about once a week now! I seem to get on a roll, then stop.

GM is back home, we had a wonderful visit. I'm happy I was able to take some days off, and we also had some alone time together. We made meatballs one night for dinner. F finished off the left overs yesterday. She also made homemade pasta sauce, and I have containers in my freezer! Yeah me. F was going on and on about that sauce. Good to know, it was simple enough I can totally do it myself. :)
One of the days we went to lunch, sat outside ordered a few drinks and snacked. We talked about traveling, trips, family, etc, I loved listening to old stories about the past, it was so neat. I proceeded to tell her about the oldest blogger (108) dying, and how neat it was that she blogged, and shared stories. GM got really interested in what I was saying. She told me how she writes in journals about stuff from the past, things about her parents and brother, etc, and how it would be nice to have a place where all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would read about it later on. So I said why don't you get a blog GM and see how you like it. It doesn't need to be published to for everyone to read, but then someday you can share it with everyone. She got the biggest smile on her face. She was so excited. When we got home that day from lunch she right away asked if we could set it up. Later when I went to the store, she used my computer to type her first post. After I got home she was so excited to show me. It's awesome. Good for her. 84 on Monday and just started a blog. :) Luv it.

This weekend is the first where we don't really have a lot going on. Think it will be nice. If the weather is good, perhaps some pool time. Maybe even tennis. We played about a week ago, it was fun. Miss it. Oh and when I say "we" I mean Y and my niece! F doesn't like to play.
