School Supplies Nightmare

It's over!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how excited I am to be done with school supply shopping. I love to shop, but this just about had me committed. First we purchased the basic items a few weeks ago, then once registered at the new middle school, she was given a list of items she needed. I could not believe what was on there. USB flash drive, calculator, and they had to be certain brands. We are well over $100 in just supplies, that doesn't even count the uniforms. Oh the uniforms, don't get me started. I take part of the blame, my gut told me to buy them months ago when I saw them, however we weren't sure what school she would be going to, so I didn't want to buy and return. Next time go with the gut!!! Would of saved me a lot of trouble. Instead Y and I were running around to every store looking for pants and shirts, which were picked over, and the size selection was horrible! On Sunday I found the last pair of pants, and shirts she needed. Lets just hope she doesn't grow this school year a lot, they might not fit by the end of the school year. :(
The sense of relief on Sunday was overwhelming, after running from office supply stores looking for a calculator and the last few items, when all was accomplished I just about cried! I knew I had been stressed, but didn't realize how much of it was on school supplies.

it's ridiculous, isn't it? We all turned out pretty well and all that was required of us was some paper, pens, glue, and scissors. glad all your shopping is complete!
