Sunny Saturday

Today was just what I needed. I awoke with the sun shining in my face. Usually I don't exactly love waking up that way, however it felt wonderful. I knew the weather was supposed to be awesome today. After cleaning the kitchen, and vacuuming the floors, Y and I got dressed, and went for a walk. One of the best things about neighborhood is our little downtown. We walked to the post office. Actually I walked, Y roller bladed. We then headed to the hardware store, and ended our walk with a treat of amazing homemade ice cream! Funny how as we sat outside the ice cream shop my gym I go to is in the corner, I kept thinking , gym don't look at me like that. I just went for a walk! We headed home where Y cleaned up her bike from the Winter. I sat outside on the balcony reading my book. I'm now on page 104. (I need to read more often, I'm beginning to slack) The sun again shining on my face. I cannot wait for summer. Being outside today, and enjoying the day really put a smile on my face. Next Saturday we are headed to the zoo. I haven't been to this zoo since I was in elementary school. I'm excited. Then again I just love going to the zoo period. Hope everyone got out this weekend to enjoy the sun.
