Every morning I work, I make a pit stop before arriving at my mother in laws house. I get a bagel toasted with low fat plain cream cheese, and a medium coffee. At first I said it was a treat to myself for the first week going back to work. Now I will use any excuse I can think of to allow myself to make the stop. Do I need the bagel and cream cheese, no, but it's yummy. I could also make a bagel and coffee at home, probably save a few bucks. That also adds one more thing I have to carry down to the car. See I can make any excuse! Well it's all coming to an end. This week will be the last week for my bagel. Since I NEED the coffee (that will always be justified) I will allow myself that. Back to cutting out breads, and playing closer attention to what goes in the mouth. When I was pregnant, and then nursing I watched everything I ate. Now, I've become very lazy when it comes to taking care of myself. Which I know is bad. Time to get back on track. One continued change has been keeping most things in the house organic. I am so proud of how F's taken the change. He rarely complains anymore about the new food in the house, and just excepts this is how it will be from now on. I know he can tell the difference even if he will never admit it he likes it. I feel good knowing my family is putting healthy things into their body.
The farmers market opens in a few weeks, I have going on Saturday mornings, getting my weekly produce from the farmers. Y enjoys going as well. She likes all the samples. Our farmers market also has amazing flowers, and plants. It's a nice treat to pick up some flowers once a week for the house. Makes the house smell great.

I used to be the same way w/ Chai Lattes from starbucks. When I realized how much sugar was in those, even though it was made w/ skim milk, I had to give them up.
Yeah for Farmers Markets! Can't wait for the one by us to open up too. Fresh flowers can do great things for the house - a real inexpensive fix! Kudos to you for going all organic.
I understand. I can almost always figure out a way to justify Dunkin Donuts!
